Laura Rämö is a Finnish media artist & cultural worker currently focusing on stop motion animation, installation, photography, filmmaking, community projects and events. These are a series of posters for their recent exhibition in Tampere, which they describe as being "about imagining life, water element/the sea, time and some sort of shapeshifting, I guess. :-)"

Flux Island is a New Media Art Exhibition that explores the site-specific location and its relationship to the sea using interaction, generative processes, and immersion. The artworks in the exhibition are created by students and alumni of the Aalto Media Lab. Flux Island’s first presentation took place in Vuotalo (Vuosaari), Helsinki 1.–22.2.2020.
I designed the communication material and visual identity for the event.
The exhibition concluded with a Family Day where families were invited to try out and explore different interactive installations and DIY instruments while enjoying the artworks of the exhibition.

In December 2019, the government of India proposed changes in citizenship laws which were anti-muslims, anti-poor, and exclusionary towards specific minorities - a move which sparked protests all over the world. A spontaneously formed protest group in Helsinki, largely consisting of Indian students. These posters were designed for the protest organised against the new citizenship amendment laws in India, and another against caste-based sexual violence.

Om Dar-B-Dar is a 1988 cult Indian film directed by Kamal Swaroop. The absurdist / non-linear film follows a young schoolboy Om and his family who live in Pushkar, Rajasthan. It is a satire on mythology, arts, politics and philosophy.
This served as the official poster when the film was digitally restored and re-released in 2014.
