Devanagari is a script based on the ancient Brāhmī script used in the Indian subcontinent. It was developed in ancient India from the 1st to the 4th century CE. It is currently used by languages such as Apabhramsha, Awadhi, Bhili, Bhojpuri, Bodo, Braj Bhasha, Chhattisgarhi, Dogri, Gujarati, Haryanvi, Hindi, Hindustani, Kashmiri, Konkani, Magahi, Maithili, Marathi, Marwari, Mundari, Newari, Nepali, Pāḷi, Pahari (various), Prakrit, Rajasthani, Sadri, Sanskrit, Santali, Saraiki, Sherpa and Sindhi, Surjapuri, and many more. Anemoia is defined by the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows as "nostalgia for a time you’ve never known". These are recipes from another time, found in an old recipe book published by the Time and Talents Club, a bougie women-led club founded in 1934 in Mumbai. The series of posters is a fetishizing of nostalgia, inspired by the concept of Anemoia.

Kitsch Mandi is an initiative to promote artistic entrepreneurship. They organize Flee Markets as a platform for local artists to exhibit and sell their work. This was a series produced for one of their events, their first time in Mumbai.
