Visual identity for a new media art cooperative
Konvol New Media Art Collective
Visual designer
Konvolv is new media art cooperative engaged in experiential art, creative tech education, and new media consultation. After becoming a member of the co-op, as the resident Visual Artist, I was asked to design a visual identity. The word Konvolv is a play on the word Convolution, a mathematical operation on two functions that produces a third function, which ties in with the cooperative's focus on transmedia experimentation to push boundries of creative technology, art and activism. The visual identity uses a custom typeface designed with glyphdrawingclub.com. The design of the typeface is inspired by the concept of convolution, visually represented as two different kinds of signal waves convoluting to produce the letters.
Visual identity and squarespace website for a collective of workshop facilitators
PlaymyStratefy OY
Brand designer
PlaymyStrategy is a collective of workshop facilitators and designers, specializing in the LEGO® Serious Play®, an open-source facilitation methodology. They adapt and use the LEGO® Serious Play® method for guided experiments in strategy-making workshops. Developed at The Lego Group, the crux of the method is simple - participants build abstract and spontaneous LEGO® models of their ideas. These ideas are then explained to others by storytelling around the model. The process of reflecting upon something immediately after creating it in a playful environment brings about insights from the participants’ experiences. As part of the collective, I created a communication strategy and brand identity. Apart from communication, I am also involved in workshop design and documentation strategies. Event identity for a colour conference
Aalto Experience Platform
Visual designer
The event introduced a broad spectrum of multi-disciplinary colour research with international keynotes and networking opportunities between academia and industry, as well as between different disciplines. The event was organized by the Experience Platform at Aalto University, held at the Espoo International Theatre. Instead of using a traditional ‘logo’ as the starting point, I designed a typeface (kind of) which is weird and loud to establish the identity wherever it gets used.

Veterinary clinic & animal rescue centre
Aegis
Brand designer
A proposed animal rescue centre and vet clinic, Aegis stands for protection, comfort, and kinship. I was hired to establish the brand identity, name and communication strategy.
For the visual identity, an abstract minimal form of an animal is used. It vaguely resembles something animal like, without being specific. The arch emerging from the letter ‘g’ also forms an umbrella over the letter ‘i’, symbolising protection.

The W came to Goa in 2016, and ASDS (where I worked) was commissioned to design the identity for two of its in-house restaurants. Spice traders serves pan-asian cuisine, while Rock Pool is the pool bar. The logomarks have been designed to be in harmony with the cuisine and spatial cues.

Taj Mahal Palace Hotel \ ASDS Mumbai
Design lead
Shamiana, the iconic all-day-diner at the Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai, recently went through a massive makeover. The café was the first 24X7 coffee shop to open in the 1970's and has seen a tremendous journey since then. It has long been a city icon and with its latest re-branding effort, sought to reach out to a younger audience while re-affirming its place in the hearts of its original patrons. ASDS in Mumbai was commissioned to conceive the visual applications of the re-branding project.
